Diane, love your video blog post! Isn't it crazy that we are having rain in Chicago in December?! I'll take it though over snow anytime!
I really acknowledge your Free Ride Day idea as being such a kind and generous act. My only hesitation is in picking up strangers. It's sad that we live in a time when kindness from others can wind up causing the do-gooder harm. I would hate for you to pick up someone that you don't know and have them hurt you.
However, I think your wanting to extend such a kindness to others is wonderful! God Bless!
I agree with Cricket. Also I don't imagine that you would find too many who would get in a car with a stranger, even if she were as lovely as you! Even fewer with a young man in the car, too. But I applaud your good intentions. Can you think of another way to be kind?
